Ecuadorian Primera Categoría Serie A Stats Now on FBref

FBref now has statistics for Ecuador's highest level of football competition, the Primera Categoría Serie A. This league is covered on the site since its 2014 season, and is also tracking the latest scores and stats from the current 2019 season. One example of a player whose history gets filled out is Orlando City midfielder Jhegson Mendez, who spent the last 4 seasons with Independiente before moving to the MLS in 2019. In Europe, Stiven Plaza made 2 appearances with Valladolid in La Liga last season, following up a 7-goal 2018 season with Independiente. One of the leaders in the 2019 Primera Categoría Serie A is Fidel Martínez, who returned to his home country this season after 7 seasons in Liga MX.
