Stat Comparisons Added to Player Game Finder
Posted by Mike Lynch on October 27, 2014
As you may have noticed, we recently added the ability to compare different stat categories in our Team Game Finder. We're happy to announce that we've now brought the same function to our Player Game Finder.
So you can now search for things like:
- Most rushes by a player with more attempts than yards (Michael Bennett's 19 rushes for 16 yards)
- Most pass attempts by a player with more interceptions than completions (Dan Pastorini's 21 attempts, 3 completions, 4 interceptions)
- Most receiving yards in a season by a player who had at least twice as many yards on the ground (LaDainian Tomlinson's 725 yards in 2003)
Obviously, there's plenty of other queries you can run with this. We encourage you to play around with it and we hope you enjoy it!
Just as a reminder, if you do not want to answer survey questions on the Play Index, we offer ad-free subscriptions good on all Sports Reference sites for a little over a nickel per day ($20/year).
So if a person gets the PI subscription for baseball do they still get the surveys on other sites?
Dave, the way to avoid surveys is by getting an ad-free subscription: http://www.baseball-reference.com/my/auth.cgi?do=ad_free_browsing
Wait...Clicking a survey does not mean we pay something out of our wallet but it does mean you get like 10 cents per day (but not "from" us)
Does that sound about right?
Yes, that sounds right
