The 2004 diving events were held at the Olympic Aquatic Centre in the Athens Olympic Sports Complex Spiros Loues. This was also the site of all the swimming, water polo, and synchronized swimming events. As in 2000 there were again eight events – four for men and women, with both individual and synchronized events on springboard and platform. Chinese divers won six of the eight events, and 9 of 24 medals.
