Bronze: FIN Martti Nieminen

François Béchard of France had won the 1919 Inter-Allied Championship but he did not compete at Antwerp. [Adolf Lindfors] was likely the favorite as he had competed in the 1912 Olympics, losing in the 4th round, and was runner-up at the 1911 World Championships in Helsinki. At Antwerp, Lindfors performed the rare feat of pinning his way to victory - he won all five matches by a pin. In addition to his gold medal, Adolf Lindfors was awarded possession of the Challenge Prize that had been donated by Gold & Silversmiths of London.
