Biography

Albert Weinstein, brother of [Paul Weinstein] came in seventh in the long jump at the 1908 London Olympic Games. In 1909 and 1910 Albert was German Champion in the long jump. He also started as a triple jumper. His son Adelbert later became an important German postwar journalist at the Allgemeine Zeitung Mainz and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and a high-ranking officer in the German Bundeswehr.
