Hendrik van den Eijnde was one of the artists who had affiliated himself with the Art Deco style. He was a Dutch sculptor, furniture designer, graphic artist and illustrator. The autodidact was also known as a sculptor of monuments and wall decorations in homes and commercial buildings. Van den Eijnde is considered as one of the founders of the Amsterdam School of Sculpture.
