Jørn Oberg Utzon, the cousin of Danish sculptor Einar Utzon-Frank, became a well-known architect in Denmark. Einar Utzon-Frank himself studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in København, where he later taught as a professor. He began his artistic life as a painter but later became a sculptor. During his lifetime, he produced a large number of sculptures, many of which still stand as public monuments. His son-in-law was the painter and author William Flemming Bergsøe and his son Bormand Utzon-Frank also became a sculptor.
