Biography

John Trevaskis won his first Cornwall County cap alongside St Ives team-mates [Thomas Wedge] and [Nicholas Tregurtha] in 1904, and that same year Trevaskis was also selected for the combined Western Counties team. He played for Cornwall 10 times including the game against Australia at the White City in the 1908 Olympics when he was called into the squad as a replacement for A Bridgeman of Penzance. He continued playing for St Ives until just before World War I.
