Biography

After attending Hokkai Junior High School, Takahashi Subaru studied at the Waseda University. While attending university, he was part of the Waseda cross-country team that won the relay at the Japanese Cross-country Championships in 1925 and repeated this achievement the following year. In 1926, he also won the the 25 km individual race. After retirement, he served as a chairman of the Japanese Ski Federation.
