Biography

Bernhard Stübecke was a member of the German team which competed in the road race at the 1928 Olympics, but, as only one of their riders, [Karl Koch], finished the race, they were not classified. Stübecke had to retired after a severe fall resulted in a knee injury. Directly after the Games he turned professional and competed in around 25 six-day-races.
