Although British born, Arthur Rudd played football (soccer) at the 1924 Paris Olympics. Rudd was a defenseman who played for the Fleischer Yarn Football Club of Philadelphia. After the Olympics Rudd played an exhibition against Ireland. Rudd played two seasons in the American Season League, with Fleischer Yarn in 1924/25, and Philadelphia Field Club in 1925/26.
