Biography

Race canoeist Helmut Noller won 23 German and, after World War II, West German Championships between 1939 and 1954. With Günter Krammer he a bronze medal at the 1954 World Championships in the K2 over 1,000 metres, which improved on his fourth place at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics with [Gustav Schmidt]. Noller later coached youth canoeists at his home club Wassersportverein Mannheim Sandhofen.
