Karl Neuner was 1924 German Champion in Nordic Combined, carried the German Flag at the 1928 Opening Ceremony, and in 1936, was a member of the urban planning committee for the Olympic Winter Games at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and responsible for the cross-country tracks. At the 1928 St. Moritz Winter Olympics he withdraw in the nordic combined after his disappointing 22nd place in the 18 km cross country skiing. Like his brother [Martin] he made his living as a hunter.
