Alex Mackintosh was from Pueblo, Colorado and represented the Pueblo Golf & Country Club. The 1900 census reveals he was living in Pueblo at the time and an Alex Mackintosh is listed in the 1899 and 1905 Pueblo City Directories, but we know little about him. He did not qualify for the match play at the 1904 Olympic golf tournament, but qualified for the second flight in the consolation tournament, where he lost his first-round match to [Warren Wood], the eventual winner of the second flight.
