Biography

Leo Lermond was AAU Mile champion in 1929 and 1931 and indoors won the AAU 2 miles in 1928 and 1931. He competed for the Boston AA and the NYAC. Lermond tried to make the 1932 Olympic team, running the 1,500 metres at the Olympic Trials, but placing seventh. Lermond worked as a stone mason.

Personal Bests: 1500 – 3:57.2i (1929); Mile – 4:12.0i (1932); 2 miles – 9:11.8i (1931); 5000 – 14:50.0 (1928).
