Biography

Jan Koželuh was a prominent Czechoslovak amateur in the 1920s and early 1930s. He won the Austrian International in 1925-26. Koželuh played Wimbledon from 1926-30, making the singles quarter-finals in 1926 and 1927. He played at Roland Garros in 1926 and 1933. Koželuh competed at the Czech International in 1929, 1931, and 1935, making the quarter-finals in 1931. He turned professional in the late 1930s and played internationally as a pro, including several tours in the United States.
