Biography

Oswald Holmberg competed, and won medals, at three Olympic Games. He won a bronze medal with the Swedish tug-of-war team in 1906, and then won gold medals in team gymnastics in 1908 and 1912. Two of his brothers, [Arvid Holmberg] and [Carl Holmberg], were also on the 1908 gold medal winning gymnastics team. Oswald Holmberg was a wholesaler from Malmö. He later studied law and worked in business, but ended up teaching gymnastics.
