Biography

Cyclist Peter Gröning was a member of the mixed German pursuit team that won the silver medal in Roma, this time with [Bernd Barleben], [Manfred Klieme] and [Siegfried Köhler], a pure East German team. In 1959 he claimed the East German national title in this discipline. Gröning mainly started in steer races in the late 1950s.
