Biography

Charles Drueding rowed the coxed four at the 1932 Los Angeles, sitting in the second seat. Drueding rowed for the Penn Athletic Club. He later became a company executive. His son, Richard Dreuding, rowed in prep school at St. Joseph’s. Richard went on to become a well-known guitarist, composer, and arranger of folk and traditional music, often appearing at the Philadelphia Folk Festival.
