Donald competed at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, losing in the quarter-finals, and then turned professional in January 1993. Donald had a reasonable career in the pro ranks, with 42 wins (24 by KO), 5 losses, and 3 draws, but he never fought for a title. He competed in several title eliminator bouts but never advanced to the title fight. Donald did win a 2004 match against aging veteran [Evander Holyfield], the biggest name win of his career. Donald fought mostly on undercards, as he was not popular with the press or the fans due to his highly-defensive and unentertaining style.
