Adolf Dahle studied in Berlin and was one those artists who were supported by the SS during World War II. In 1944 he belonged to an exhibition called âGerman Artists and the SSâ, whose catalogue included a foreword by ReichsfÃ¼hrer SS Heinrich Himmler. He was renowned as a painter of horses and rider interpretations.
