Bob Crawford ran distances and cross-country for Lafayette College, Princeton, and the Millrose AA. At the AAU meet he was fourth in the 1919 2-miles and fifth in the 1920 3,000 metres. Crawford was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, but emigrated to the United States in 1910, and became a naturalized citizen when his parents received citizenship, shortly before the Antwerpen Olympics. He later worked as a manager of a Kresge chain store.
