Biography

Julia Cornell swam the 200 breaststroke at the 1952 Olympics, but did not get past the first round. She was second at the US Olympic Trials. Cornell swam for the Portland Jaycees in 1952. She set US long-course records in the 100 breaststroke in 1950 and 1951.
