German diver Alfred Braunschweiger finished fourth on springboard at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. A “dive-off” for third place was scheduled but Braunschweiger refused to compete and Kehoe was awarded the bronze medal. Nationally Braunschweiger started for Schwimmerbund Schwaben Stuttgart and was German Champion in 1903 together with non-Olympian Waldemar Riemann.
