Elzy Blom-Wirz was a Swiss sculptor and painter. She studied in ZÃ¼rich in 1942 under Germaine Richier and Hildi HeÃ an in 1945 under Hans Gisler. At the same time, she attended nude drawing courses at the ETH (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). She produced reliefs, portrait busts and figures as plaster model for bronzes. It is not known why she is listed as a Belgian in the 1948 Olympic Art Catalog.
