Son of rugby international Clovis Bioussa, Alex Bioussa was a back-row forward and a fly-half who won a silver medal in rugby football at the 1924 Paris Olympics. He was capped 21 times for France, always playing for Stade Toulousain, from 1919-31. With that team he won French titles in 1923, 1924, 1926, and 1927, and lost in the 1921 final. Bioussa was a candle salesman, but he later worked as a rugby coach with Lavelanet from 1947-50.
