Biography

Arthur Bailey was a member of the Toronto Argonaut Rowing Club when he was selected to represent Canada at the 1904 Summer Olympics. There, alongside [Phil Boyd], [Thomas Loudon], [Donald MacKenzie], [Pat Reiffenstein], [Colonel Rice], [George Strange], [William Wadsworth], and [Joe Wright, Sr.], he lost to the Vesper Boat Club of the United States in the final of the coxed eights. As there were only two teams in the event, however, Canada earned a silver medal.
