slund travelled to Germany, France and Spain. He was primarily known for depicting horses, which are found in his drawings and paintings. At the Veterinary College he studied horse anatomy, and lived for long periods near the North Swedish horse center, VÃ¥ngenâs Stallion Breeding Center in JÃ¤mtland. Ã
slundâs paintings carry an air of impressionism. He was a member of the Artists National Organization, the Swedish Artists Association, the Graphic Society and the Artists' Club in Stockholm.
