Biography

Bjarne Angell played only doubles at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics, partnering [Noble Stibolt]. Angell won one Norwegian national title, the 1915 doubles championship, alongside [Conrad Langaard]. He was the son of a grocery and wine merchant in Kristiania (Oslo) aand took over the business with his two brothers when his father retired in the mid-1920s. Angell married a Swedish woman and moved to Sweden where he lived until his death in December 1938.
