The addition of box score data back to 1922 has also helped us fill in our game location data back to 1922, so we have created an index of NFL/AAFC stadiums, from the Alamo Dome to Yankee Stadium. The stadium pages have links to first and last game box scores, as well as career, game, and playoff game leaders for a given stadium (since 1960, the first year for which we have player game stats). This covers nearly the entire history of Lambeau Field and every game played at every other stadium that's currently home to an NFL team (plus Wembley Stadium and the Rogers Centre). And it's fitting that with the park celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, we now have a record of every Bears and Cardinals game at Wrigley Field.

The stadium data has also been added to the player game finder and the team game finder, which will let you search for things like all players to throw 4 or more passing TDs at Gillette Stadium or all Chiefs' Monday night games at Arrowhead Stadium.

In what I can only assume is the biggest sports news of the day, we've added NFL/AAFC box scores with scoring summaries for (almost) every game back to 1922, the first year of the NFL as we know it. Thanks to the combined work of PFRA and our own research, this gives us complete scoring logs for hall of famers like Bronko Nagurski, Ernie Nevers, and Otto Graham as well as box scores for games like the first official NFL championship.

Why do I say almost every game? Well, we are still missing detailed summaries for the following games/teams - we know who scored TDs and who kicked XPs, but not when or which XPs were associated with which TDs. If you have any information on any of these games, please let us know!

Due to a need to replace a faulty power supply the sites will be down for hopefully just a few minutes tomorrow afternoon as the power supply is being replace. The work is scheduled to occur sometime between 1 and 3 pm ET and should affect only our CFB, CBB and Olympics sites and this blog. Not to be outdone by baseball's addition of manager challenges, we have added a full list of challenges to the bottom of coaching history pages as well as season and career challenges & challenges won in the coach career totals. These numbers are not official (they are just pulled from the game accounts in the NFL gamebooks), but they're still a good barometer of who is bad (Dan Reeves was just 4 for 28 on challenges) and who is good (Mike Tomlin is 24 for 44).

With the release of the full 2014 NFL schedule, we've gone ahead and updated team pages for 2014, featuring current rosters, 2014 team schedules, and 2014 team travel maps. In addition, the 2014 preseason schedule is up. Only 2 weeks till the draft!

While we sit around and wait for the 2014 NFL draft (only 3 more weeks!), I've gotten the full 2014 college football schedule up for all games as well as the individual team and conference schedules.

Just finished a project to add player high school listings for 22,000+ professional players. Players for whom we have data will now have their high school listed on their player pages. We have state-by-state listings from Alabama to Wyoming (and even foreign high schools) and we have listings of current and former players and their stats at high schools from Long Beach Polytechnic to Canton McKinley.
