As we've done with the Player Game Finders on Stathead Hockey, Football, and Basketball, we've just released an update to the tool on Stathead Baseball. This upgrade brings some exciting new features to the Player Game Finder.
The biggest new addition is the option to search for combined stats from multiple games. In the past, you've had to use some complicated workarounds to get this information. Now, it's as easy as clicking a button! In the search types section on top, just select the option for "Find totals from all games"! You can do "Find totals from all games in a season" to run the search for single-seasons or "Find totals from all games in combined seasons or careers" to search a multi-year span.
Now you can use this search type to answer questions like:
Who had the most WPA in Game 7s?
Who hit the most home runs as a catcher hitting 4th in the batting order?
Who had the most strikeouts in Postseason no decisions?
This completes the updates to all of the Player Game Finders on Stathead. If you've never tried it, this is the perfect time to sign up for your Stathead free trial and see everything you can do with the most powerful set of research tools on the Internet.
