Overview

The 2008 Olympic archery events consisted of men’s and women’s individual and team events, the standard program since 1988. The events were contested at the Olympic Green Archery Field, a temporary outdoor venue constructed specifically for the 2008 Olympics. Korea won both team events in 2008, but did not win the women’s individual event for the first time since 1980, that gold medal going to China’s Zhang Juanjuan.
