Shooting in 1996 was conducted at the [Wolf Creek Shooting Complex], 20 miles southwest of the Atlanta beltway in Fulton County. The program was fully segregated for the first time, with men and women competing separately in all events. There were 15 events on the program, 10 for men and five for women. Men competed in the same seven they had in 1988-92, with separate trap and skeet events for men. In addition, a double trap shooting event for men was added to the program. Women competed in the same four events they had in 1988-92, with double trap shooting also added for females.
