The 1934 European Champion was Sweden’s Knut Fridell, who led after the third- and fourth-rounds to advance to the final round with Estonian August Neo and German [Erich Siebert], who was tied with Fridell for first. Fridell received a bye in the final and when Neo defeated Siebert by unanimous decision, the gold medal went to Fridel, with Neo winning silver.
