Overview

The 1932 water polo tournament was held at the Olympic Park Swim Stadium in Los Angeles, which was also the site of the swimming and diving events, and the swimming section of the modern pentathlon. As with many Olympic events in 1932, participation was low, with only five teams entered, who contested a round-robin tournament, although only the German and United States’ teams played the requisite four games, after Brazil was suspended from the tournament and forfeited their final two matches.
