The swimming events at the 1932 Olympic Games took place at the 10,000 seat Olympic Swimming Stadium adjacent to the main Olympic Stadium. The programme of eleven events, six for men and five for women was unchanged since Amsterdam. Crowds were large and enthusiastic while the clear quality of the water was considered a vast improvement on previous years.
