Summary

Shooters could choose either the prone, kneeling or standing position, but presumably, everybody shot prone, which is a much more stable, and accurate, position. The gold medal went to Switzerland’s [Marcel Mayer de Stadelhofen], who was five points ahead of his teammate, Konrad Stäheli. Little else is known of this event.
