Othello Zavaroni was a French architect, who taught at l’École des Beaux Arts in Paris. He later directed the free workshop Defrasse Madeline of Architecture from 1944-57, and the formal workshop from 1957-68. From 1968-78 he was named professor at l’École des Beaux Arts.
Zavaroni was involved in many projects with the agency Lacoste Madeline, the Bruxelles World Fair in 1925, the Exhibition of Liège in 1939, and the re-construction of the churches of Zwartberg and Berringen. In 1949, he was appointed chief architect for the reconstruction of Caudebec-en-Caux in Normandy, and participated in the construction of the stock exchange in Le Havre.
