Biography

Jerry Winholtz wrestled Charles Ericksen in the first round of the 1904 Olympics, and gave the eventual champion a good match before losing by decision. Records have not survived, but Winholtz probably wrestled at least another match to win his bronze medal because there were several losers eligible to compete for that place.
