Biography

Crewing for [Britton Chance] on Complex ll, Ed White was partnered by his twin brother, [Sumner], and they became the first twin brothers to win gold medals for the U.S. at Olympic. Ed White was a Harvard graduate (class of ’52), who, after graduation, initially did investigative work for the Army. He later went into sales with a large commercial printing firm in New York.
