Biography

Butch Wedin was the 1960 US junior ski jump champion. In 2008 he was inducted into the American Ski Jumping Hall of Fame. Wedin’s son-in-law, Alois Lipburger was silver medalist on the large hill at the 1978 World Championships in Lahti, Finland, and competed for Austria internationally from 1975-81.
