Sheila Watt finished sixth in the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 110 yards butterfly and seventh in the 4×110 yards medley relay (with Frances Hogben and the non-Olymians A.M.R. Turnbull and M. McDowell). In the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 110 yards butterfly Watt finished seventh. In the British Empire and Commonwealth Games she competed for Scotland.
