Ralph Warburton

A right winger from Rhode Island, Ralph Warburton played one game for the Boston Olympics in 1943 prior to enrolling at Dartmouth, where he was part of a renowned line with the Bruces, Cunliffe and Mather, later his Olympic teammates. He played four years for Dartmouth, graduating in 1948, and then played for the US at the 1948 St. Moritz Winter Olympics. At Dartmouth he helped them to a 46-game winning streak and the nation’s #1 ranking in 1946-47, prior to the advent of NCAA hockey chamionships. He then spent a few years playing amateur hockey, with the Milwaukee Clarks from 1948-50, the Boston Olympics in 1950-51, and the Worcester Warriors in 1954-55.
