Oscar Waldmann was born in Geneva and taught sculpture in Paris. He designed a bridge pier which was one of the few pieces praised by Anthony Ludovici in a review of a show of Arts and Crafts at the Grosvenor Gallery in January 1913. At that time, he had been exhibiting in London since 1898.
