Biography

Olive Wadham had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1930 British Empire Games 4×100 yards Freestyle Relay (with Joyce Cooper, Phyllis Harding, and the non-Olympian Doreen Cooper); 3rd in the 1938 European Championships 4×100 metres Freestyle Relay (with Zilpha Grant, Margery Hinton, and the non-Olympian Joyce Harrowby). In the British Empire Games Wadham competed under her maiden name Olive Joynes and represented England.
