Mabel Walker was a sprinter for Tuskegee Institute. She won the 1948 Olympic Trials at 100 metres, and was AAU champion that year in the 50 metres. Specializing in the very short sprint, she was third in the 50 metres at the 1947 AAU Meet, and at the 1948 AAU Indoors. Personal Best: 100 – 12.3 (1948). |
