Volterrano Volterrani was the professional name of Italian sculptor of Almo Volterano, who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Roma. After World War I, he mostly created figures, busts and portraits, using as his influence classical Roman statuary. The works were portraits of boxers, dancers, busts, and small, older allegorical medals. After World War II he mostly produced war memorials and bas reliefs. Volterrani also designed bronze statues for the velodrome for the 1960 Roma Olympics.
