Tim Vollmer was the AAU discus champion in 1971 and silver medalist that year at the Pan American Games. At the NCAAs he was runner-up in 1968-69, representing Oregon State. At the AAU Championships, he placed in the top four in the discus every year from 1968-73. He later competed for the NYAC. Personal Bests: SP – 17.37 (57-0) (1969); DT – 67.39 (221-1) (1971). |
