Biography

Between her two Olympic medals, Lynn Vidali won four AAU titles in the individual medley and one in the breaststroke. In addition to her bronze medal in the 200m IM in München, she swam in the 100m breaststroke but was eliminated in the heats. In the 400m IM she placed seventh as, for the first time, the U.S. failed to win a medal in this event.
