Biography

In addition to his 1932 Olympic appearance, András Székely won a gold medal in the 4x200 free relay at the 1931 European Championships, adding a silver medal that year in the 100 freestyle. As a Jew, he was murdered by the Nazis in 1943 at the Chernihiv concentration camp, a labor camp in what is now Ukraine.
